At around 1:31 PM, Laura Hilts set up her boombox and her hat on a sidewalk in front of a dress store. A lady walked by with her daughter and they dropped a 5 dollar bill in her hat. The little girl looked up at Laura with a big smile and said "I like your dancing!". "Thank you!" Laura replied giving the little girl a smile. a few more people walked by, some giving her money and some ignoring her completely. At around 3:57, Laura started packing up, on her way home she bumped into a man with a bunch of books. The books fell out of his arms and they hit the sidewalk. Laura stumbled back dropping the boombox and her hat. The boombox had broken, and the money Laura had recived was blowing around in the wind. Laura ran after the money. She stepped on a few dollars to keep them from blowing away. The man was helping when there were only 3 dollars left to catch. The money got caught in a tree, the man climbed up and grabbed the dollar bills. "Thank you, so much!" Laura said sweetly. "You're very welcome!" the man replied. Laura noticed the mans books still lay on the ground. Laura bent over and picked up the books. Laura gave the man his books and gave him a 5 dollar bill. "Thank you." the man said to Laura. "You're welcome." Laura replied. "Hey, do you need help with that boombox?" the man asked. "No, it's fine. I've got it." Laura told the man. "Okay" the man replied. "Bye." "Bye!" Laura replied. Laura picked up the broken boombox and walked home. When Laura walked in through the door, her mother had asked what had happened to the boombox. Laura explained to her mother what had happend and then they both went upstairs to fix it. at around 6:29 PM, they had finished fixing the boombox. "Thank you, Mom." Laura said to her mother. "You're welcome, Laura."
