Hey guys! Today I'm going to explain, in my opinion the best blocks/items in Minecraft. These are the most useful and awesome blocks/items. Here they are:
Block/Item #1: Diamonds (Duh)
Do I even need to explain? Diamonds are what every player craves. It makes the best tools, best weapons and best armor. It's used in many other cool items, too. Its block texture looks pretty. It makes you shout, "Yeah!" when you find it in a cave.
Block/Item #2: Super Golden Apple
First of all, the design. It shimmers a really cool purplish color. Second of all, its effects. You get absorption for 2 min, regeneration for 30 sec, resistance 5 min. and fire resistance 5 min. The only thing that is a little annoying is its crafting recipe, which is a whopping 72 gold ingots. There are also those pesky particles, but they can be turned off in options.
Block/Item #3: Ender Chests
Unlike the super gold apple, the particles emitted by the ender chests are actually kind of cool. The purple particles come out from it, like many ender items or entities. It makes it look magical, and it is! A type of chest that is linked with all other chests of its kind? Awesome! You can use it for checkpoints, trips or convenience in general. If you think about it, this item is great for adventure maps. You could also use it for redstone machines. Have a comparator next to both ender chests, and if an item is taken out of one chest, it will affect both signals.
Block/Item #4: Command Blocks
Some people might not know about these, but if you are experienced at redstone, you do. For experienced redstoners, you probably don't make many inventions without a command block. For people that do not know what it is: A block that when triggered by a redstone signal, can execute any command. How to get it: Do /give <username> command_block. With this block, you can produce wireless signals, (it's complicated) kill everything and even make a mountain! It's powerful, probably the most powerful thing in Minecraft.
Block/Item #5: Wood
Think about it: Wood is how you get everything in Minecraft. You could never have anything in this article without wood! (Except for command blocks. You can't get these in survival at all, unless you do the command.) It is also a HUGE building block in creations, unless you're making everything all-stone, which frankly, I do not like. Wood brings contrast to the stone, and looks good with it at the same time. The next time you're in your huge house in your best survival world, thank wood. It's what got you all of what you have.
