readied for battle, he had a small hovercycle refitted with weapons and electroshields, small devices that produced
a skin of electricity around the set object. He and his men donned thier armor. Raiku also had a new chestplate
designed for him, one with a secret power that only him and Iadehn knew about. When all the warriors were ready
for the oncomming slaughter, he made a speach. "Warriors of Patadecia! As we ride tonight,
remember your families, those you love. We ride with honor and glory, for the better of mankind. My people are trapped down there, on the now barren rock in space. My friends, my family are trapped.
We ride to regain the lost lands of Earth!"
As Raiku ended his speach, a roar of huzzahs and cheers went up in the vast crowd. Raiku knew many of them would not return alive. But the men knew they were fighting for freedom. As he mounted his new vehicle he raised the Holy Piercer in honor and charged off to Earth, signaling the begin of a great war.
