It was a normal day in East Village.  Steve woke up and started his daily routine.  Crafting then hunting then chopping wood.  After that was done, it was time to mine.  He went to his normal mining spot and dove into the depths of his mine.  He collected some coal, iron, redstone, and a ton of cobblestone.  Suddenly, there was an earthquake.  It was so violent that some stone fell from the top of the cave.  Then it stopped like it never happened.  Steve decided to call it a day and went back home and fell asleep.

The next day he awoke and did the exact same routine.  When he was hunting he couldn't find any animals to kill.  He finally found a chicken and shot an arrow at it, but he missed and it scared the chicken away.  He chased down the chicken until he arrived up on a hill.  Just as Steve was about shoot it, it jumped off the hill.  Steve ran for the chicken when he saw where the chicken went.  A huge ravine stood before Steve.  It was so deep that you couldn't see the bottom of it.  He saw the chicken on a ledge about twenty blocks down.  Steve watched as the chicken jumped off of it's ledge and floated into the darkness.  As soon as the darkness fully enveloped the chicken, a loud chicken scream could be heard and a feather flew out of the darkness and landed on a ledge.  Steve stared at the feather in awe of what just happened, then the feather was gone.  Steve shouted and ran as fast as he could to his house.

Steve sat on his bed and tried to recollect his thoughts.  After a while he decided to go into the ravine.  He gathered his diamonds and crafted diamond armor and tools.  He made a few stacks of torches and set off to the ravine.  He used his pickaxe to get into the ravine.  He pulled out a torch and kept scaling down into the darkness.  He couldn't see anything around him.  Suddenly, a force knocked him against the wall and he felt like he was being choked.  He couldn't breathe.  He felt himself getting weaker and weaker every second until all that was left was darkness.
