Introduction

Hello there=D Today i will tell the importance of living in and controlling The End on pvp servers.
I have noticed from being on/dominating servers, and now from being co-owner on one just exactly how important controlling The End is. There are a few great aspects of controlling that area that will give you a great advantage over those on the server you play on that don't get that opportunity.

Advantages

There are many benefits to controlling The End such as:
*You can build your base away from the main End island and have an impossible to find base.
*You can make an EnderFarm there and have an endless supply of Ender Pearls and Exp coming in.
*You can have an easy way to get obsidian, especially if the server you play on has mcmmo.
*There will be the Ender Dragon there with loads of Exp, especially if the mods/admins spawn a dragon often.
*Not too many people think of going to The End to raid people, instead they search the main land.
* You can charge people to use The End or your pearl farm once you get powerful enough.
*No creepers to blow up your base, or zombies to break your wood doors.
*Hard to find for others even if they know you live in the end, because they have to find the stronghold 1st.
*Some servers have an End portal at spawn, if so you can surround the End side with traps or walls.
*If servers don't have a portal at spawn they can be Extremely hard to find, especially if you fill in the room the portal is on with stone and dirt so people won't think to look there.
*Able to collect EndStone, 1 of VERY few blocks that EnderMen can't steal from the landscape.
*EnderMen dont try to go after you like other mobs, because you have to stare at them for a second or 2 1st.
*Your able to place water unlike the nether.
*When you do place water it spreads faster than in the main world.
*Can collect Dragon Eggs,, no purpose at the moment except decoration,,,,,for now XD
*No nether portals activate here so no one will ever just appear from the nether through portals.
*With the new update/snapshot you can now move entities across worlds, meaning you can have a pearl production line that pushes the pearls to the main world, if you can set it up properly.
*Allows you to farm and do ALMOST everything the main world lets you do.

Disadvantages

There are a few disadvantages however:
*No Ores to mine....yet
*No mobs for food source, but you can farm in the end.
*1 wrong step and your going down to the end of the world to die.
*No wood so if you need any you have to go to main world.
*Dragon will destroy blocks that aren't bedrock,obsidian, or endstone,,, but if you build far away you wont have this problem at all
*Compasses, clocks, and maps don't work properly here.

Conclusion

I hope this helps many people change their mind about over looking just how important the end can be to benefiting you on pvp servers. If people like this post i will make another one about how the nether is important also.
