The screams rattle through the trees awaking animals as far as the eye can see. Although the scream wasn't of pain or fear, but of joy. The cries of joy meant that something new has come into this blocky world. A new beginning for him meant a new beginning for others. The Kingdom of Altera had a greedy king. Only starving for his own needs, doing whatever he could to keep his hand on the thrown. He's name was Makia the III. He never believed that once a great man known as Notch created this world little by little. He only believed in fortune tellers and magic. On the day of the kings 56 birthday he wouldn't blow out candles or cut a cake like we do in the world today. He would order every fortune teller in the kingdom to produce a fortune to himself. They new if they would tell the truth about him he would arrest them or behead them. All of them lied giving him good fortune even though, only pain would come for him. A older one very wise and truthful did not give him a good fortune, but a evil and dark one, that crawls around the floor looking to take a bite at his heart.
The fortune teller spoke "a newborn boy has come to this kingdom, he will take the throne from you and at the same time you will be no longer be existent in this world."
The king did not bother with throwing him in jail for he was already a old man.
The king replied furiously "Why should I believe you? I received too many blessings for just one to out way them all!" The kings face went as red as the Sun.
"You do not see for you are greedy and follow the wrong path! A path of thorns and death."
The king stepped down from his thrown to strike the man. His arm swung with the might of one thousand men.
"Arrr...!" He stopped his hand right in front of the man.
"Well if it is a newborn, he is defenseless." The king smirked. "Messenger, bring world to the general to dispose of all the male children under eight." The king order with rage.
"How should he dispose of them...s-s-sir?" The messenger stuttered to get his words through.
"Feed them to tigers, they I can trust."
"Ye-ye-yes sir!" The messenger sprinted out of the long throne room. The king turned back to the old fortune teller, and smacked him across the face. "Well that solves that problem. Take him to jail" He told one of the guards at the door. "His execution will tomorrow when the sun hits the tip of the sky. So then everyone can see what happens when you lie to me."

The messenger got to the General and handed him the orders. He scanned with a heartrending expression on his face.
"Okay, tell him consider it done." The general also stuttered, knowing that what he is about to do is wrong. The soldiers went to every home scavenging for any child under the age of eight like the king ordered.
"Found one sir!" One of the guards informed the general.
"How old are you son?" The general asked.
"I-I-am nine si-r-r." He just managed to reply.
"Take him anyways." The general ordered.
"But I thought if they were over eight they can live?" The soldier reminded the general.
"Don't ask questions jut do it, or you will be joining them!" He replied barely managing to look in the kids eyes, filled with fear and sadness. The screams echoed through the trees awaking animals as far as the eye can see, but only this time it was not of joy, but of sadness and fear.
