This is based on when one of the Forge apprentices accidentally deleted the rankings last week, and we had to fix it.

It was a normal day in the Forge. People were making weapons and adding stuff to the bulletin board (those are wall posts), as one does in the Forge. While registering someone's prestige for a bulletin board post, however, an Apprentice accidentally ripped the paper with their pencil, and the rankings fell from the pushpins holding them on the board. It was at that moment that a gust of wind blew by and the rankings blew away.

They ran to the Apprentice House (the lore version of the PM chat we have) and told the other Apprentices - save for LogMaiden, who was on a trip to oversee the construction of a home for a nomad guild - and they were worried too. There were no other records of the rankings, save for one record made by the older apprentices back in October, when the Forge was just starting out. They decided that would be a last resort, should they find themselves unable to get the current rankings back. "Don't panic." Potato (BigFatPotat) says to the Apprentice. "I'll try and get them back." "Don't bother." the Apprentice said. "They blew away. They're probably in the ocean by now." "What about Forgemaster Chaos (TheCrypteral)?" Potato suggests. "Maybe he's been writing down the rankings." "No." I said. "I don't think he has. He's been on vacation for two weeks." "Then I don't know what we can do." Potato says. "I'm gonna go let the town know about this situation." I say. Then, I go make a ham sandwich and then start writing a wall post to let the town know about why we won't be registering things and granting prestige right now.

After finishing it, I head outside and pin the notice to the bulletin board. Later that night, I pray to the god of Planet Minecraft, the great Cyprezz, that the rankings are restored. He heard my prayers, and I awoke to find a new rankings sheet on my desk. I decide to let the town know about it in another bulletin board post, but then, when I return later that day after my usual trip to mainland, the rankings are gone. That night, I pray to Cyprezz again and ask him why he took the rankings back. To my surprise, he spoke to me. He said he hadn't taken it back, but rather it was set to fade away after a few hours if not put on the bulletin board immediately. Then, he left and before me materialized another rankings sheet, and this time I immediately went to put it on the board. I wrote another update as well, saying everything was restored. I called an Apprentice meeting at the Apprentice House, and told them that the rankings were back and it was time to register all the prestige for stuff posted during that period.
