Hey Diamond Miners, Diamonddozen here! I was recently reading a blog about interviewing mobs and he asked a Ghast why it cried. I decided that I wanted to continue my "The REAL Story of..." series with the story of the Ghast. I never really thought about why it cried so this is going to be fun.
It was the year of 1983. Garret Ghast was eating a lovely meal of Nether Wart in his huge mansion. The Ghasts had a good life: They ruled the Nether and at the time the Nether was a big place. Filled with booming life, and tons up on tons of other Ghasts to frolic with. Garret was an especially happy child. He was the most popular, and the most well known among the other kids in the Nether. Garret was a happy child...then they met Notch.
After the death of his brother Notch, wanted revenge, however instead of seeking this in his own world he wanted to take it out on the Ghast's kingdom. He set out his army of Endermen, Creepers, Spiders, Skeletons, angry wolves, and the like. Even his son, Steve was set out to this war. The Ghast's had to retaliate. They set out their own army of Blazes, Magmacubes, and Zombie Pigmen. They also hired a magic wizard to give them the power of fire. However instead of just breathing fire the Ghasts were accidentally given fireballs.
The battle went on for the entirety of a decade. With it finally ending with Notch being the supreme victor. The only things left in the Nether were Garret and two Zombie Pigmen. Garret was forced to live by himself and revive the Nether with new ores, and mobs. Garret has never stopped crying and attacks humans on site.
