A lot of people don't think about how their words effect others. When you say or assume someone is/isn't something, you are labeling them what you want them to be/think they are, and they probably don't agree. If some tells you who/what they are, accept them and move on, don't tell them they are wrong. They WILL question themselves and they WILL be upset. You can't even joke about these things, because its NOT okay.

Too many people have assumed that I'm straight. They say "You like him,' or "He's your boyfriend!" but maybe I don't like guys. Anyways my point still stands, don't ever assume you know what someone is. Someone can be trans, bi, asexual, pan, ect. they can be many other things aswell, like emo, scene, gothic, and preppy. A single person can identify as so many things, and that never gives you the right to judge someone. And never tell someone that they can't know who they are because of their age, for young teens, it important to be accepted. identities are timeless. You will always be the same person, no matter what you identify as and people need to accept that.
