The Road

The Road

Many years ago, a young traveller set out on a mystical journey, in hope of finding a higher truth.
This, is his story:

There once lived a young boy in a village. This boy was very active, his life was pleasant, filled with close friends and family. He never felt down or alone, and was always looking on the bright side of things. One peaceful morning, the young boy awoke to find that his friends and family were nowhere in the village. This was the first time he'd ever felt fear. He was scared and afraid. His village was usually isolated completely with tall gates, but on this fine morning, a section of the gates had been removed.

The young boy looked through the opening and saw nothing but a small, rocky road. He felt strange as he viewed this road. He felt as though it was a key to something in side of him. So, the young boy decided to follow this road hoping it would unlock the mystery of his happiness.

Many days had gone by and the young boy was weak and frail. He looked up at the sky and then down to the ground. He felt nothing but depression, but in the distance he saw something... a pond! The boy ran towards it cheerfully.

In the days that followed, many events of hardship occurred to the boy. But he gained hope at every obstacle. Dangerous storms and battering heat tried to take the boy down, but it was his hope that kept him alive.

Many weeks went past, and the boy was still going along the rocky path. There was no water and food, but the young man had gone to far to give up now...

The boy was at his last straw. His body was very weak and cracked. As he eyes blurred he noticed something large and white in the distance. And suddenly, his cheer and hope returned. He sprinted towards it, and when it came into view he noticed it was a large building with two glass doors. He went inside.

He felt the cold air-conditioning on his face. He looked around and saw an abundance of people all playing computer games! He searched the area and eventually found his family playing games too! He was so glad he could see them again. But he still felt empty... So he searched around more. And then he found the key...

A large sign that said "Minecraft" Flashed above him. He felt empty no longer! He smiled in cheer and ran over to a computer. He continued living his life happily, but he never forgot the truth that "the road" revealed to him.

The Moral is "Never give up" or "Every obstacle is an opportunity to get stronger"
