Topic 1-Bullying/Stereotypes towards disorders.
I hate it when people think if you have a disorder or a medical condition you are dumber than them. I myself don't have any medical conditions or disorders ,but almost all my close friends do. My two best friends both have to take attention pills since they both have ADHD. I get so ticked off when people think they are being funny talking about some of these people including my friends behind their backs. This stereotype is far from true; I admit one of my friends who has trouble with talking and using his arms and legs is way better than me in most of my classesI wish more people would think about how they would feel if someone made fun of them because they have a learning disorder or some other medical condition. One time I can truly say people understood the seriousness of these kind of things is when a kid in my 4th/5th grade math classes got cancer. For once people put aside their foolishness and stood together to help him through this time. He is fine now and doing great. Just by seeing all this I really learned a lesson about sticking through things and teamwork.
