I found this seed while testing if there was a difference using capitol letters and lower case letters in seeds. It turns out there is by the way. :)

This seed spawns you right next to a really small NPC Village. It only contains 1 Butcher Shop, 1 Large Wheat farm and 1 Well, all connected together with a single gravel road.

This seed is perfect for survival because it starts you off with a food supply and a shelter as well as many other useful things listed below, yet it does not over spoil you with things such as a blacksmith with a chest full of diamonds etc.

Additional features:
  • Pumpkins right next to spawn! :D

  • Lots of sugar cane nearby
  • Quite a few animals nearby
  • Many biomes nearby including swamp, jungle and desert (there is a snow biome past the desert) which means you can easily acquire every type of wood, planks and saplings ^.^
  • Villagers included! (Only one butcher and one normal villager)
  • Abandoned mineshaft nearby (As far as I know, it's not exposed :/ )

Right next to the farm there's a hole in the ground. If you fall there (you may lose 0,5 hearts) there's a VERY deep cave!!! Best place for mining!

I recently lost ALL of my MC worlds which was really disappointing. I was hoping this map would still work for 1.4.2 and it does! Everything is still pretty much the same. There is still all the biomes within a reasonable distance, the pumpkins are there, there's still a mineshaft close by (not exposed though), and the village is still the same. There's a witch hut in the nearby swamp at X 371 Y 69 Z 276 (bring stairs to get into the hut) and a surface spider dungeon with 1 Saddle, 1 Cocoa Bean, 2 Wheat, 7 String, 4 Redstone, 2 Buckets, 3 Gunpowder, 7 Iron over at X 310 Z -33.
