Tips for mining
1. Do not ever mine straight down. Ever.
2. If below 40 in depth be weary of all ores, there may be a lava pond behind them. (though a rare one at that)
Tips for monsters
1. If you see a creeper in a space that is 2 blocks high, then charge it, hit it twice, and repeat. Otherwise, do not approach unless you've aggro-ed it.
2. It's hard for monsters to get to you if you block off the path. Don't leave any path unlit/blocked off.
Tips for under ground parkour
1. Don't do it. Unless you have a death wish.
2. If in question, then no, you can't make that jump. Just make a bridge.
Tips for being around lava
1. Don't stand on the edge. Especially if you aren't playing on peaceful. (ex. Skeleton shoots you, you fall in)
2. If you are near a lava pond, never stand in flowing water.
