Welcome to my new blog in which I will find the most eye catching, jaw dropping and outstanding Top 3 of all the best things about MineCraft. Today we start with Top 3 - Texture Packs: the Simple edition. What are the most elegant and vibrant simplistic texture packs out there? To find out, keep reading, It's FREE!!
Evenly made, oCd just screams out stunning. With perfection, comes the obsession and compulsion which still has that special "MineCraft" feel. At 16bit, the 90 degree angles a long with the bright colors are a pleasure to the eyes.
Very similar to oCd, this texture pack is really great if you want your MineCraft as simple as can be. Silx Smooth is a little more "free" compared with oCd as it does not follow a rule of 90 degree angles but has the same vibrant colors you can keep your eyes on for hours! Checkered trees suit very well, complementing the sharp cartoonic styled blocks which are all easily definable. Overall one of my favorite simplistic texture packs! Great job riki137.

The GUI is quirky and fun and the different tones of colors work exceedingly well together to percieve a simple gradient theme. Although not completely finished, this is a great addition if you're looking for a change and I highly recommend it. It's clean, simple and just plain great!
