INTRO

Hello, piggies and Steves to a blog by-you guessed it-Me! Today I will be doing a tutorial on how to make a modern home! Before we begin the basics, here are some blocks you will need for the job---

BLOCKS

Stone slab/Double slab
Spruce leaves
Glowstone
Birch wood planks/slabs
Glass panes
Smooth Sandstone
Wooden stairs + Signs

PLACEMENT

OK, now that you've got your blocks, it's time to build! First of all, the windows (On the bottom floor at least) need to begin at floor level. They also need to be made of glass PANES. Not blocks, panes look more modern. The spruce leaves can make great speakers for a jukebox, or they can just be decor! Don't use stairs for stairs. Don't get confused. :D All I mean is that slabs look much more modern (Or so I think) as staircases. Glowstone is obviously used for light, but make it look pretty! Some trapdoors, and you've got a lampshade! The wooden stairs and signs are used to make chairs and couches. Simply place the stairs, and then place the signs on both ends of the stairs (Arm rests).



PARTY TIME

Well, you've got the house. Now what? PARTY 'TILL YOU EXPLOOOOOODE! Get a jukebox, play some C418, and dance it out with your faction recruits! But who says players get all the fun? Invite the farmer's piggies to come on in! And when it's all over; the house is a mess, you're so tired you could pass out...You are content...Or are you? Steve-"No I am not." Piggy-"WHAT?!" Steve-"I need...More houses." That's right folks! I'll be doing more House Tutorials! Also, got any other tutorial ideas? Post in the comments! So have a nice day, miners and diggers! Peace!
