Prologue:

Steve is human, in fact the only human left alive, or so he believes. His world, a world where particles represent a cuboidal structure. He lives as long as he moves. He crafts, defends, upgrades, builds all the time but what does it for him? It helps him move on. He moves from peak to peak, forest to forest, dessert to dessert, from continents to continents divided by seas and oceans, but in search of something, something human. He trots, runs all his life from his greatest fears, not wanting to be blown into a billion bits, ripped of his flesh, struck by a dozen arrows, getting entangled in a web, poisoned by the deadliest of potions or even being attacked at lightning speed for seeking just a glimpse. He looks here there almost everywhere for humans but all he finds is evidence. Temples, dungeons, mineshafts and even the oddest of villagers from another race, all together proving that humans existed but do they still exist? That is his life moving along day and night with three other thoughts in mind - mine, craft and survive! But why is he left alone, and what caused this and is there hope?

Chapter 1:  Not normal?

Born 13639343 a boy was born but was quiet different from the others with his deep brown hair and his lustrous purple eyes. His name was Steve, Steve craft according to his family. His town “Wooden Block” was large, the largest town which other civilization relied on, but the friends he had were limited to two. One called Dekker and the other Fen. Dekker had the roughest black hair a person could have while having the skin soft as sheep wool, but he was rather plump. On the other hand Fen was much smaller than the other two and loved to speak with his only friends. They were together and away from other for two reasons, first they were not at the same physical level and second they were too scared to do anything bad as the others did. Due to their timid natures they were always targeted by the other boys but as long as they stayed within the village walls they were protected by the people. The other boys scared them, but the stories of hostile mobs that were said to have roamed the lands beyond the town walls were incomparable. The boys stilled looked at the mobs as myths. Some myths about zombies wanting to tear you a part piece by piece to creepers detonating on your morning stroll. For now the boys stayed in their village avoiding trouble and studying the art of craft as fear was a wall which was to high and thick for them to pass.

Chapter 2: A small step in the wrong direction.

Time moved, in fact dragged almost as if it were forever. Along with time grew the boys, all in strength and knowledge of the art of craft. So did the curiosity to know the outside world grow. This was triggered on the evening when people were allowed to see the world only five hundred meters beyond fully equipped on a day known as “endrave”. This day they celebrated the world around them and the luck of their survival. The world outside was the best Steve and his friends' eyes had seen at the age of ten and as growing up took time, curiosity overtook without effort. The three of them would try and glimpse at the outside region whenever the gate had opened to receive or help travelers, many gravely wounded but as curiosity was now stronger then fear this urged them more and more, for they wanted to see much more of the outer world. At the age of fourteen they decided the three of them must get out but only night was the easiest time to escape. So one night just before the moon seemed to reach the center of the universe they equipped themselves with the iron armor they had each on having only a chest plate and a sword. They also packed bread and roasted stake. The boy’s creped out of their house silent as a silver fish and they climbed over the walls with the ladder they had been working on the previous week. They then escaped into the surrounding forests engulfed in darkness, but little did they know what was at stake for them as they had no idea what night was to day.

Chapter 3: Enders Plan

Meanwhile in the Ender Fortress where the Enderdragon and his Enderman followers raging with anger due to the destruction of the Enderworld all escaping from deaths finial grasp. The people had partially failed. The Enderdragon with his tone deep as stone constructed a plan with the enderman, a plan which would have to work or it would be their end. But they still had time as the enders wanted the people to think that the Enderdragon was dead and forget about him. All of it was up to time.

Chapter 4: Exploding Fall

Nearing the end of the forest the three of them were relieved that they had not cross anything unwanted except the fact that they had been bruised because they had bumped into the dark acnea trees several times. Once they had left the darkness of the forest they came across another problem a ravine had split the forest from the grasslands. The way around was not an option as it seemed there were creatures moving around that area. They then decided to stop for a while and restore their hunger. While they ate they came up with the plan that they would make a wooden bridge across as wood was their best source as they were surrounded by trees. So they made their wooden axes. Steve chopped the wood. Fen then converted them into planks and Deker built the bridge. Deker and Steve took a break while Fen went and checked the stability of the bridge. When Fen was returning from the other side of the bridge he suddenly heard an odd sound “thzth, thzth, thzth, thzth”. His friends’ eyes suddenly widened and screamed for him to run but it was too late. The Creeper made one last sound and exploded sending Fen to the bottom of the pit.

Chapter 5: Jackpot

The shocked friends’ quickly hurried to the edge unable to find their friend. Then in the pool below they caught a glimpse of an object moving, Fen was struggling to get out of the water. So without thought the two boys jumped into the pool to rescue their drowning friend. Suddenly an arrow whizzed past Steve’s head. He then turned around to see they were surrounded by LIVE skeletons and green creatures. Fen recovered just in time to scream “Skeletons and Zombies”. Immediately the three of them took out their swords and fought a way through into a small mine opening within the ravine. They ran as far as their legs could move and then stopped to light a torch. The cave lit with color. Over to the right the wall was covered with iron ore and so was the roof. Below them they saw lapis and the best of all they saw diamond. Just then they realized they needed iron picks for the diamond, so they got iron ore with their stone picks, but they still needed coal as the wood was need for sticks. So Deker decided to carefully go in search for coal while his friends create a shelter around the ores. As Deker searched he found a surplus amount not just of coal but of iron ore, and he even passed by a mineshaft. Since the mineshaft was to dark he decided he would go along with his friends. While he was glancing around at the view of the mine, he suddenly felt a liquid slash all over his back. Then he started to feel sick and even drowsy and with his last consciousness he looked around to see witches and a whole lot of other mobs. He tried to move but it was no use as his feet were paralyzed not just by the potion but by fear. The mobs came closer and closer. Their growls much ferocious with each step. He was surrounded.

Chapter 6: Here to there

Suddenly two diamond swords came through the bodies of the two witches. They sliced each and every mob. Fen and Steve had found coal nearby, created diamonds swords and decided to come help Deker. At this moment Deker fainted of fear and exhaustion. Soon Deker woke up to find his friends brought him to the base and they had already made armor with Dekers iron. Since there was only one diamond left Deker had to stay with his iron sword. Once they were prepared to move they followed Deker to the mysterious mineshaft he had found. The mineshaft was a maze. They went right, left up down. Each turn seemed the same. After walking along the rails a long time they came across a mine cart with a chest. They opened the chest to find four diamonds and bread. Greedily they munched on the bread. Once they ate they crafted a diamond sword for Deker and a diamond Pickaxe. Then the thought struck their mind as to why no one stayed here anymore or as to why they left all their things. Soon they moved but were stopped by a series of webs. Suddenly a whole mob of spiders rushed at them. They ran knowing they were outnumbered. They realized it was the spiders that chased people away. They ran, in fact sprinted with all the energy. They reached the opening ravine but realized spiders were coming from all directions. The exit was to far high. Then Steve remembered the pearls he had picked up which he heard had teleporting powers. He had exactly three and he gave one to each of his friends. All three threw their own pearl up and they teleported but Steve’s pearl hit the edge and he fell back down. Spiders were nearing at a rapid pace.

Chapter 7: The Golem

It was early morning; Steve was not in a good position. Both friends thought hard as to what to do, when Deker spotted pumpkins. Without talking he got the pumpkin and throws it to Steve with four other Iron blocks. They he tell Steve to place one iron block then three on top horizontally and the pumpkin on top. With great effort Steve made it barely trusting his friend. The pieces come alive, limb to limb. Then it stood tall, its grey texture long arms, wines all over. Clang it fights of the spiders with ease only taking a hit or two of damage. The spiders retreated finding themselves to be no match for the mighty golem. The golem then stared at Steve with its red eyes. Steve shivered and started to run. The golem chased him and he got very scared. Soon the golem caught him and Steve begged for mercy but the golem just looked at him. Then with one slight bend the golem bounces off the ground as though it was made of slime. They were out of the Ravine. There Steve joined his Friends to see the beauty of the sunrise along with the world. The golem was a friend, and he would protect them from what the world had in store for them.

Chapter 8: -_- Punishment

They head back home expecting that they will be in trouble. So they hide their diamond equipment so that no one suspects them of going too far. When they enter the gates many serious faces stare at them, especially their golem. They walk till their homes avoiding any further eye contact. When they reach home their parent are so relieved and hug them with tears, but after that all of them are sent to be punished in the mine within the city. But they do it happily as they had lived and had quite a mining experience.

Chapter 9: THE Nether

As the three grew up many they learned many skills, and even managed to discover many things. The first thing they discovered was that ice golems were also possible, although much weaker. They even found out lapis secrets to enchanting armor and swords. But most of all they came across a hidden book from which they learned of the strongest stone built. They mixed lava and water but they only got stone but soon they discovered or at least revealed obsidian. As the book went further they were able to learn of a mysteries portal, but it was said to be dangerous. So at the age of eighteen when they finally gained their freedom they left the village to create this portal. With their only diamond pickaxe they mined this stone blacker than darkness. They spend hours, almost days making and mining enough. Soon it was time. They placed the blocks in the middle of the grassland far from any village. The unopened portal towered high above them. Deker took of his flint and steel and lit the portal, but nothing happened. He tried again but the same result. The three of them walked away drooping with sadness. Suddenly a light shined bright and they turned to see the portal had opened. The Purple shade of the portal was beautiful shaping diamonds with the sharpest edges, but what lied beyond was still a mystery. The three of then slowly crept toward the portal knowing from their knowledge this adventure was not the safest but it was something not many had done, in fact none came back from. They stepped up a block of obsidian into the portal and got the tingling feeling from the purple, suddenly their bodies started disappearing and then for sometime all they could see was white. Once their eyes were used to the light they saw the world, covered with lava, and dark pink blocks. Although it was plain to their eyes it was quite a site. They moved into the area. They ventured into mini caves passed lamps of glow stone. Suddenly they came passed a mob of pig man zombie. One came next to Fen with its gold sword. Fen thought it was attacking him and gestured his sword to hit the nasty creature but Deker stopped him just in time by grabbing his sword from the behind and reminding him they did nothing, UNLESS HARMED!

Chapter 10: Mysterious reports.

Back in Wooden Block a series of messages had come in. They said they had lost communication with some other villages. Some men had gone and checked and all that was left were ruins. The Head of wooden block remembered then he knew, the dragon was still alive. He was sure it was the dragon as the markings done were by mobs mainly enderman. He decided they must pack and leave but there was not enough time. They decided to buy time. They created what they called villagers who had slight human DNA but mostly robot. They were programmed with a few simple tasks, to trade and live at home at night. He was sure this would buy time. A group of men set out to build these villages. These fake villages that were built on warm biomes were protected by iron golems now known as villager golems. They were strong and could slow down the ender forces even more, while on the icy regions the new snow golems/snowmen were a new protection. Once these villages were set up the human race started migrating south away from the destruction sites. They had forgotten Steve and His friends.

Chapter 11: No one!

Meanwhile in the nether the three boys were chased by quite a number of ghasts but were unable to get a clear shot at one. So they decided to make a stone shelter. Once they had placed their beds they got ready to sleep. Steve lied on his bed and there was a sudden explosion, the bed had exploded. They could not sleep in the Nether. The ghast found them again and began to attack them but this time from a closer range. Steve recovering from the blast built himself upwards with stone and stabled the ghast receiving a ghast tear as the creatures high pitched pierced his ears and shook the Nether. Soon more ghasts had appeared with angry zombie pigman. The boys ran to the portal which was half broken. They eagerly tried lighting it but it took time. At last moment they got it open but when they were back into their world some mobs were already there. They immediately destroyed the portal the targeted the pig man. Having been cut in several areas they gained a painful victory. They headed to the closest village for help finding nothing but ruin. Confused they headed to their own village as fast as they could go. Their village was standing. But there was no one to be seen in sight. They wondered where everybody had disappeared. They went in and packed their stuff for they knew there might be something coming.

Chapter 12: Change in plans

Soon the Enderdragon discovered that the villages were decoys as the villagers did not get scared. Furious he commanded his army to directly attack the village Wooden Block. This time the dragon led his massive army across several biomes until they reached. Once they reached they found no one there, but three sleeping boys. The boys jumped in fright and ran south not knowing they were leading the army to the people. They ran and ran like never before. In no time they bumped into the migrating people. The boys realized what they had done was a grave mistake. The people turned in fear for they knew that now it was war or die. So all of them took out their weapons and the war broke out. People fought mobs easily but they were outnumbered. On top of that the Dragon would swoop down and burn few of them to death with its dark flames. Since the boys were the ones with the best armor they headed for the dragon and stabbed it as hard as they could. The dragon backed away slowly. Suddenly the dragon started glowing and a huge set of dark meteors rushed out of its mouth. Steve and his friends were buried. The dragon headed for the people already low in numbers. The families came together. They knew it was the end as the dragon powered up its final flame. Steve was able to get through with the use of his new potion from the ghast tear and the help of his friendly golem. He ran towards the dragon who faced the people and jumped up upon its neck and stabbed the dragon but he was to late the dragon was at the height of it power. The flame that came out off the dragons lungs exploded killing everyone instantly. The force of the Blast sent Steve a few miles in the sky, the heat caused him to faint.

Chapter 13:  Alone

Steve woke up with his back in pain, his body was temporarily weak but he had been saved by his armor and the regenerating potion. Then he stood up and screamed as loud as he could as though someone were on the moon to receive it. He had lost everything, including most of his memory but he knew his family or at least his people were still out there waiting for him to return. He was not alone, or at least he thought so. Over time he failed to find anything which led him believe that he truly was the only left living human in his whole wide world. He discovered temples of his people, fake villages which supported his needs but altogether assisted him in his journey in search for his people as his people always said him the temples are protected from mobs and only our race can unleash its secrets. The people had prepared these places in case someone got lost. Now Steve would use them to find what was lost. Steve continues on his journey through every possible biome to find humans even though he is unsure of their lasting existence.
