Hello~
Today I have decided to create a hair shading tutorial!
Let's get on with it!
{STEP ONE}
Choose your color scheme, I chose a mix of reds, purples, and pinks.
Fill all sides of the head with your darkest color, and if you want the end result to be a certain color, choose the color that is the farthest on the color wheel from your desired end result.
{STEP TWO}
Add your second darkest color in the spaces I colored. When choosing colors, move your mouse along the wheel until you reach your end desired color, choosing colors in between your starter and finisher.
{STEP THREE}
Once again, add your next lightest color in the spaces provided.
{STEP FOUR}
Repeat Step Three with the lightest color in the empty middle spaces.
{NOTE}
Once this is completed, repeat on the other two sides of the head, leaving the top, bottom, and front alone. When I did this, I also noticed that the darkest color was a little too red, so I altered it to a bit more purple.
{STEP FIVE}
This is the top of the head. Recreate the pattern provided, and fill the center with the second lightest.
{STEP SIX}
This is now the front of the head, do no shading on the hair, however, the face needs to have the same color wheel pattern, go from a more pinkish-red tone to a beige.
{STEP SEVEN}
For the eyes, use the same color as the darkest color of the hair as the top lashes, and first color.
{STEP EIGHT}
Next, use a grey tone for the part right next to the hairline on the top. You also want to get a color that is an off-white, but make sure that it relates back to the hair colors. Also, get a brighter and more vibrant version of the hair tone for the bottom eye.
{STEP NINE}
For the skin tone, take your beige color and put it in the spots provided.
{STEP TEN}
Finally, for the skin, add a highlight with pure white right next to the top eye piece.
{STEP ELEVEN}
For the bottom of the head, just repeat the pattern.
{STEP TWELVE}
For the bangs, repeat this pattern on the front of the hair. Of course, there are many ways to make the bangs, but for this skin, I decided to make this one.
{STEP THIRTEEN}
Shade with the second lightest in the areas provided.
{STEP FOURTEEN}
Repeat in the two spaces with the lightest color.
And you are done!
