Chapter Six:Kitty


As Zoey and I walked up the path and approached the mamoth of a house she stopped and pointed to window on the second floor, where I saw a small cat white as a sheet,the house looked very run down and the cat didnt look of good health.We slowly made our way to the front door which was a vibrant shade of yellow, the most colour we had seen so far on out trip.The door was locked but the door could easily be pushed to the other side with a tool or in this case a wand.I said the words batque and the door fell off its hinges and on to the stained marble floor.As  we entered the ratunda of the building we noticed that the lights weren't working and most of the paint was chipped,was it possible the house was abandoned? The house had swort of an eerie look to it and every turn was another shadow until we made it to the staircase with a large stained glass window at the top pouring light in.


Chapter Seven:Defeat by a floorboard


Zoey and I walked up the long windey staircase and when we reached the top we had to stop to get more air. Infront of us was a vintage looking oak chest of drawers, something about them wanted me to open them like it had some swort of aura around them. I opened the first draw and found a letter adressed to Paul Belevance dated 1890 it read "Dear Paul we needed to inform you that we are moving out of the house because its starting to fall apart all around us and because of the multiple "accidents" we had with floorboards breaking and walls collapsing hope to see you soon, Grace". So the house was "evacuated" I said to Zoey and she shrugged her shoulders in disbelief, thats when I remembered THE CAT, Zoey and I raced down the hall toward the room where we saw the cat through the window but on the way my shoe got caught on a loose nail and I was plunged to the ground sending the nail into the air and making the floorboards around us quiver. A few moments later the floorboards collapsed sending us into a room looking like a library on the first floor.


Chapter Eight:Memoirs of A Witch


Zoey and I got up from the loose floorboards we landed on and looked around, a few small books lined the floor including one titled "My Diary" I flipped one page and it read "Dear Diary my name is Kate im 7 years old and I live in Belevance Manor with mommy, daddy and the staff, one day daddy said he was going to fight for freedom in the country's capital and its been a month now and he still hasnt come home, mommy is holding up fine but she is worried ,to cheer her up I hid X under a table for a scavenger hunt *the rest of the page was covered in a black charcoal substance*". I stared at Zoey and Zoey stared at me, we found a clue Zoey said, I said yes we did, suddenly my vision went dark and I heard my voice being called by Zoey, I passed out but during that time a had a small deja vou moment, it was me in a romm writing something in a book, as I closed the book I saw the lable "My Diary". At that moment I woke up to something hot and wet being placed on my head, it was Zoey throwing hot water at me to try to get me awake. I got up and I said we need to go to the dining room , Zoey agreed and we ran out of the room.


Chapter Nine:The Black Key


We ran down the hall to the dining room where a long pine table covered the whole room,under it was a small black key saying "you are going to need this" like whoever the person who wrote this knew what would happen in a couple moments. We headed back to the back exit with no evidence at all about who owned this house, but to out surprize the door was locked and we heard footsteps coming down the stairs, every step what ever it was made it made a loud creek. I shoved the key in the small key hole just as what ever it was made it to the last step. I looked back to see what it was and it was a reaper holding a long scyth ready to swipe at us any moment. we ran down the gravel path again and out the gate. I looked over to my right and saw a sign saying Elvira 20 kilometres , being parched and scared as I was i flew Zoey and I home with the flying spell. As we reached Elvira I said my goodbyes to Zoey, what I didnt know is that would be my last goodbye I would ever say to Zoey again. About a week later Zoey had gone missing and I never saw her again.
