The coloured pencils I use mostly are made by Derwent, here's a link. They're good for blending together when you press hard lol - they actually mix together and can look a little bit like oil paint.
I do also use Faber Castell pencils because I can use a blending stump to mix the colours together.
What are you having the most difficulty with? I really really struggled with my GCSE (trust me, I was predicted a 4 at the start of year 10 and came out of year 11 with a 9) it will improve I promise!
My watercolours are also from Derwent, I believe, its pretty good quality and I use them pretty often.
Well, I feel like my teacher is half the problem. She is not the most encouraging, and English isn’t her first language, so sometimes it’s hard for me to understand instructions given, even when I ask again lol. Also, I don’t know I just feel like I’m not good enough to pass, like my art is just bad compared to some other students. And I know I shouldn’t compare myself to others but I always end up doing it lol. I really do hope I can improve though, i find it hard to find motivation most of the time.
Sorry, I wasn’t expecting my response to be this long haha
A lot of people feel that away about their art. Easier said than done, but try not to worry about what other people think because chances are, they might feel the same way.
Of course you can improve, just keep working on it until you feel happy with it, it's taken me a long time to get even somewhat comfortable with my work ngl ahahah totally normal (I've only just stopped throwing 90% of what I make in the bin oops)
Try to stay positive, GCSE is only a stepping stone to other things. Use the medium you feel comfortable with and don't pressure yourself too much :)
