WARNING

A couple weeks ago I was running a nice simple server with a couple of friends. The server was open to anyone and i had no complex hacker protection plugins or programs. Earlier this week files on my computer began to go away, one by one. Then all the files and programs were gone, and i new i had been hacked.


I took my computer into the store and got it looked at and the employee traced the worm back to my netowrk getting hacked through my server.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A SERVER AND RUN IT OFF YOUR PC, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL OF THE HACKER PROTECTION YOU NEED SO YOU DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME. bukkit.org DID NOT DO ANY OF THIS TO ME THEY ARE AN AMAZING GROUP OF WORKERS WHO DESERVE TONS OF RESPECT FOR ALL THEY HAVE GIVEN THIS GAME. THEIR SERVERS WORK FANTASTIC PROPS TO THEM.
