What happens if I leave my minecraft server running the whole night?

I have just gotten 4GB of RAM installed in my computer today, and I was wondering, If I leave my server running the whole night, will something happen to my computer?

My server is not 24/7, it has absolutly no lag!

But I am just cautious and worried that if I leave it on the whole night the server will crash and wont work or the computer will just overheat and it will do something to my computer?

Can I have some feedback if it is a safe idea to do it?

It will work just as normal! Don't worry... Its OK for 24/7 servers. But, Close the server at lease 15 min per day, just in case :D

How am I gonna close it on and off every 15 minutes if I am asleep?

I mean that, if you left the server open for the night, i recomande to close your computer for 15 min the morning, then restart your computer and the server. Repeat before night.



EX:

8PM: Close computer for 15 min

8:15PM: Open server.

8AM: Close computer for 15 min

8:15AM: Open server.



Repeat. :D

Or use a server hosted like BEASTNODE! Yep!
