For those of you who are super quick, you may have seen my first blog in the What is? series, entitled What is? Wikipedia. This has been taken down, for reasons that are to be kept secret. Oh well.

A game that is a blocky, overnight sensation.
Minecraft is popular around the whole world, and has more than 10 MILLION players. Created by Markus 'Notch' Persson, it is one of the most popular games in the world.
The lead developer is now Jens 'Jeb' Bergensten, who took this position on November 18, 2011, when Notch stepped down from this position.

Minecraft is a ridiculously fun game, and is frequently updated. The game is now on update 1.10.
