What is the best level to mine different ores

I know that the lowest level and the next 16 up gets you diamond but i need to know the best places for everything. this will help me a lot cause i am building big structures on single player so i could use this help.

so ye, in other of my blogs, i have asked different questions and they have been answered so check them out and you might find something you didn't know

Level 17 always works for me, I'll find all ores in there,but I believe NeonMoons info maybe more detailed.

Coal Layer 128
Iron Layer 64
Lapis Layer 25
Gold Layer 32
Diamond Layer 16
Redstone Layer 16

i know one thing.. diamond is located most at 4 levels up from bedrock!
