Hey guys, the reason I posted this is because I really want to find out what you guys feel about how a map should be like, and what attracts you to take a look and download the map. Does the cover image attract you to download it if it's well edited? Does an uploaded video attract you to view the page and take a look? Or do you just give every map a chance and download it even though the screenshots being put up make the map look horrible? Because I feel that some maps aren't given the publicity that they deserve and some really fun maps only get about 30+ views because of the first impression it gives from the cover image. So what are your thoughts? Should an map be judged by its cover image or should we all give it a chance and download it if effort can be seen through the screenshots? But anyway, let me know what you think makes a Good Map since that IS the main thing we're talking about here. Hopefully your comments (if there are any) will help some map-makers when they create maps, as they will know what the people out there are looking for and will be able to create a map that will attract many players to take a look and download it. From my experience, the maps that I upload with edited cover images have a lot more views per day compared to my maps with normal screenshots taken as a cover image. Before I sidetrack any further, (because I think I am) I just hope that all of you will start giving the maps a chance even if it may seem like trash. Because your views and comments may really mean something to some people out there, as they will know that the effort and time they put in to create the map has not gone to waste.
