Download the latest snapshot from mojang and open up the jar. Inside the 'items' folder are tow new textures, xmaschest.png and largexmaschest.png
Are these going to be implemented, are they an easter egg, or are they just an alternate texture?? also skis.png exists??!!!
Maybe Notch will release a secret christmas update that during the holidays changes the textures??

maybe they will add seasons, man that would be so awesome. And then only certain mobs would appear certain times of the MC year
