So, many or less people here on PMC, don't know what is really shading.

So i will tell you, shading is to make it look realistic, that it looks like 3D.

Not just puting darker and higher colored blocks on the body, no.

It is to make it look good and Real, that the people like how it looks 3D.

I mean you all know Leostereo, he makes those skins PERFECTLY shaded and 3D.

Don't just sit there and make plain skins, try to make it shaded.

I had the same problem "How can you make black color darker and white color brigther?'
Well, the answer is easy, just don't use black and white, use insted dark grey and light grey.

Make the Inside arms, side body and inside legs darker, because they have somthing that is blocking the light to it. Try to make that the Body looks round and nice. The head has a nose, so don't forget that. The arms and legs have much muscles, exacly two in minecraft, so make two spots on the legs and arms that are brigther.

So Darking is to go inside and Brithing means to go outside, so don't forget that.
