The stereotype boy skin of MineCraft: Black/brown shaggy hair off to the side, classic pixel-y eyeball, checkered shirt, headphones, and one of those 80's-style sneaks. A lot of people have lost interest in it, or even started to hate it. That's agreeable, for sure. But, the thing that really shocks me, is that the 5% of people who still like it. In my opinion, the "emo" look is out of style and plain ugly. I mean, there are tons of skins out there that are unique, abstract, and fantastic, yet they get 0 diamonds, 0 favorites, and as low as 1 download. The skin gets appreciated more than it's supposed to, and as boring as it gets, more and more "noobs" join and download the skin. Now, I've never downloaded a skin like it to my user before, but I can tell just by looking at someone else sporting it that it's hideous and over-used. Even if you put it in HD, it doesn't change. People need to look out on the world and see the other amazing skins. Supporting it shows you have a lack of good taste. Please, don't download this kind of skin:crcSfpng

Thank you.

Praise on What's the big deal about emo skins?

"I really dislike these types of skins.. no shading, ugly and un-original. Being "emo" isn't cool, hot or any other thing that you want in someone. Most of the people who use these skins don't even look like them. I agree that you should look further out there and discover an actual master piece. Also, being creative is better than copying someones work, because that happens all over Skindex. It's all just an edited or stolen piece of work. None of it is original. I agree with Sowhart, being cloned is just boring. Anyways, great blog. Looking forward to further ones! :)" -MinnieMoo

I know its just not your style, but the thing is I don't understand why you have to make a blog about it, theres nothing wrong with it, It doesn't matter what people wear as skins. But people won't think the same way (Like me) Some people could be saying its who they are as a person IRL, And I agree with you that you said people don't even look like them, anyway most of the time people don't even know what it stands for. (P.s I'm not hating on your blog, Sorry if it may seem like I am)

Great more of these. Look if people like them people will wear them and more will be made that's it. Just because you like skins with more detail doesn't mean you should put people down for liking more simple skins. For ex: I dislike most skins with very heavy/dark colored shading but that is just my preference. That doesn't mean everyone who makes them or wears them has terrible taste because I don't like them.

I never really enjoyed these skins. I never got how a person would be able to at stand with all that hair in their face. This style should change to something more common that people usually have in real life.

I wasn't referring to girl emo skin. I actually have no idea what that is.

A girl emo skin is basically the same, emo flap, 1 eye, hoodie/checkered shirt, and basically a teen boy skin, but female
