Hey guys,
Another one of my blogs,but this one will talk about when admin goes to your head or your friend's head and what to do about it.So,let us jump right in!
How To Tell It Has Happened To You
Obviously, if you have a friend that says everything he/she is thinking then you'll know for sure.Other ways to know if it has happened to you and you have to friends like that,is to look at your friend's reaction when you get on:Before they may have said Sup Dude!:D.But now they may say:Hey Dude.That one less of a smiley face can tell you.People may also start acting a little strange around you,maybe even frightened.There are many other ways out there,but these are the main ways to tell.
Cures
If you do see these changes in reactions then here are some ways to revert what you have done.
Even though these are few,these are the most used ways.Of course,their are millions of other ways.
Q/A About This Topic
Q:What if I AM to late?
A:You may not want it,but quiting/retiring from admin may be the best way to go,if you want your friends more than your admin powers.
Q:What if your friend is the one with admin powers going to their head?
A:Best thing to do......their really is never a best thing to do when it comes to talking with your friends about a serious problem,is there?Although,I wouldn't confront them of it,if you really want your old friend back,you may want to.
Q:What if I do everything and my friends still think I am power-crazy?
A:Just talk to them about it,see what they think.If you're wrong about them thinking you're power-crazy in the first place....it may become...awkward...
Q:What if I do everything and my friend is still power-crazy?
A:Most likely you're too late.Have you confronted them?If you have and they ignore you or still don't stop their ways then it's a 99% chance it is too late.
Stories
Now that we have covered the topic it is time for me to share some stories I've collected from many people.All names will be censored for safety reasons,and the power-crazy people will be replaced with he or she.
From (Name Hidden For Safety):The day he had gotten Admin we all cheered and we had a fun time that night.It seemed he had changed a bit...when we barely capsed a whole sentence i.e.CONGRATS DUDE! he would warn us to not caps.Even thoug hwe were congratulating him.As months went by he got promoted higher and higher and the higher he went,the more strict and less friendly he became.By the time he got "Head Admin" he was lost.He wasn't our friend anymore.I don't care that he protected our base from two hackers...I'd rather have my friend back.
That first one broke my heart when I had heard it.I quickly took screenshots of it.Now it is on here.
Next one is very sad as well.
From (Name Hidden For Safety):He had always been my friend.Infact,he was my only friend for quite a while on the server.He was also the first one to help me at all.We had became such good friends you could practically call us brothers.7 months of fun with him.Then came the day of October 27th.The day he got promoted.We had a little celebration.Yet,I never thought he'd ban me 3 months later.He took his job oddly to seriously.Like it what his actual IRL job.I was happy for him,but he changed.1 month before he banned me permanently he banned his IRL friend,(Name Hidden For Safety)for supposedly"X-raying" into his underground base that had a freaking huge tube hanging out the top!His best friend....I thought if it came down he would ban me before him.Then came the day.I thought it would be funny to play a prank on him that I had been setting up for quite a long time.He lived in this cool underground base.So,I had built an EXACT replica right next to his base.Wehn he wasn't online I claimed his faction territory and moved everything he had to the base next door.I had everything perfect...except the mine of course.I then filled it with lava.When he came on he shouted WTF!!!?!?!?He then hawkeyed it and saw me on the logs.I said it was a joke and showed him the base next door.This is what he then said:"You really shouldn't distract admins from their work.Infact,raiding a faction with at least 1 admin in it is illegal."I knew what was coming up..."Sorry bro,but I'm going to ban you permanently.Go join another server."I was then banned.I haven't seen him since and never will again.

- Obviously,you don't want to lose your admin powers.So,you should maybe take a few days off from admin...ing....If you need to be active everyday then I would reccomend that you take a few hours off.Or tell the "Big Boss" that you're having family and/or friend troubles and need to take a few days off.If he doesn't let you take days off for that,then why are you even at that sick of a community?
- Spend time with those friends.Even if they think of you as an Admin-Crazy person,spending time with those friends and maybe even playing with them like the old days may change their minds about you.
