💔 When you're broken... 🦴

When one's broken, they can't focus on anything good.
Their whole world has been ripped apart. Who knows the reason, but they're depressed, and sad.
They're broken.

I'm sure many reading this know what it's like to be broken.
It's hard to be broken, and people trying to mold you back,
but they keep failing because you can't fix a shattered pot.

Something you have to do yourself when you're broken, or in a deep state of depression,
is just start telling other's why you're that way.
It's nerve wracking at first, but once you unload yourself on multiple people,
you will start to feel better.

It's hard going through things like that because no one ever knows how to deal with it.

My advice to you, is just, let yourself feel.
Feel all the pain, all the misery,
and once you've passed the storm, you'll feel a hecken lot better.

You'll feel the weight of the world just fall behind you.
The worst of it would have passed,
and you could relax, take a breather.

But in the meantime, while one waits for that to happen,
talk to people.
Never say, "I'm depressed," but say, "I have depression."
Never say, "I'm hopeless, " but say, "I'm hopeful."
Never say, "I'm sad," But say, "I'm just less joyful."

Looking at a glass half full instead of half empty helps get you through the storm.
Having loved ones help you through the hard times helps you not give up.
And besides, what do you gain by giving up?

Think about it.

You're still going to be in pain if you do, and you're still going to be in pain if you don't.
Except, by not giving up, you'll make yourself better.
You'll heal any pain that's coming your way.

I like to think pain as a molding tool.
It helps shape the person you are.
By the end of it, whether you realize it or not,
you've learned a lesson.
It depends what direction you go if you choose to listen.
