It's a simple question, with a simple answer, right? I'm John Doe from Winchester, Wisconsin. But is that truly the answer to the question. No, I don't think so, this questions needs to be answered in broader terms. Who are you in the grand scheme of things.
So more like this, I'm a builder, a modder, or a skinner. But is that the right answer? Again no, those are just labels and they don't define you, those could be branded onto anyone. What makes you, you in the grand scheme of things.
Ok ok, so I make teen skins, that are awesome. Again is that right? Again your just creating label's for yourself, you are putting yourself into a category that so many others fall into. You let yourself become part of something, instead of starting something.
Well, I made a skin that was Sarah and the Duck, no on has made that before, that is what you are talking about right? No, I'm talking about you, what makes you stay. Why will people know your name months or even years from now. What makes you stand out from the crowd. Are you just another nameless level 30 or 50 that had their 15 minutes of fame. Or will you do something special, something that makes people remember you. Something that when people look back they will remember that special characteristic of you that makes them wish you were there, or look back on forgotten works. Who are you, not only in PMC but in life. Why should anyone remember your name. Why should people think about you fondly. Why years later should people still be talking about you. It isn't because of your labels, it isn't because you fit in, and it isn't because you were the best at what you did.
The reason people remember is because you were different, you did something special, you were special. You stood out from the crowd. You took took the road less traveled. You were yourself at all costs.
Now, Who are you?
