Hello! I am back with my newest blog "Why do we play multiplayer?o
Sorry, I have been so busy with my school stuff I have not posted any new blogs. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this blog!
This blog will cover: Why we play multiplayer, the bad reasons people play on multiplayer and finally what the point is.
So, why do we play multiplayer? Could it be the fact that we like showing off our AMAZING PVP skills? Or maybe making new friends? Whatever the reason, there is no doubt everyone here plays multiplayer. But why? I play multiplayer because I like talking to new people, showing them my builds. I like having the thrill of PVP and having the good feeling when you help them. These are the main ideas I have found.
So out of those ideas, which ones do people see as the bad points of multiplayer? the ones I see are: Griefing-Raiding-Showing off PVP skills. Now people might be thinking that showing PVP skills are not bad But it can go too far. There is difference between PVP and showing off PVP skills. Showing off PVP skills means that you are boasting. Youo re a show off. Fair enough, you are trying to win respect from fellow players but if it goes too far, you could get big headed. Now, there may be some disagreements on raiding. The reason I pointed that out as bad is because people are devastated when their diamonds have gone. But that is not the reason why I think it is bad. The reason is when ito s a non-raid server and some new person doesno t know how to lock their chests. They forget about it and then next day they come online and the chest they thought was locked is empty. When that happens, the server loses a player. All because of this one greedy person. Now, we all know that griefing is bad. We all know the reasons. Some people say griefing is bad because the person has built an amazing building then it is demolished by an idiot who doesno t know the meaning of " No griefing= Permanent ban". But what are the other bad reasons people go online? People go online to advertise their own server, annoy everyone, promote inappropriate sites or images or maybe even to hack and ruin the server. It is obvious the reasons why these are bad.
Finally, what is the point of playing multiplayer? People reason that there is no point to multiplayer. The only difference is thereo s other people around you and /home to get you out of a cave. I say, there is a point and a difference. Yes, those are some of the points of minecraft but I think thereo s more to what the eye sees. You can get help on servers. You can do stuff on servers you could NEVER do on single player. So next time someone says to you " What is the point of multiplayer?" say " Everything."
