Hello, this is Kalkaria with my first blog.
Today I'm going to discuss why people don't like minecraft, before they try it.
Often times, kids get the wrong idea about graphics. With stuff like Skyrim, Call Of Duty, and AC, minecraft seems REALLY cheesy. Before I tried it, I literally thought it was a 2D, pixel-game-thing. But when people finally try it, they are amazed. (I know the graphics are really bad in minecraft, but people often set the bar too low.)
Our next reason will have to be, yes, other kids. In school, (Or at least my school) kids who play minecraft a lot, are often picked on. Some of them are even called ''rejects''. With that being said, how many of you would line up to play minecraft for the first time, knowing you would be picked on? It's really unfair, as often times, all these ''bullies'' have never tried it either.
Our last and final reason will have to be the kids who play minecraft. Some kids who play minecraft are often a bit antisocial, and sometimes a little random. Many fear that if they start playing, they will become a total nerd and live indoors for the rest of their lives. Which most of us know, is not true at all. I play minecraft almost everyday, yet I can also play for our schools basketball and baseball team. I also go to after school events. Most of the minecraft community does have a life you know!
Adios Amigos!

As for peer pressure, I encourage difference (especially in my school) due to a lack of intelligence generally hanging over most of my grade with only a few exceptions. Also, giving up on something because of others is cowardly.
Lastly, even children have common sense. If they were to think that minecraft would steal their lives then they could set certain time constraints on how long they play daily to rid themselves of this fear.
all the others games are meant to be CREATIVE, minecraft is about creativity how you can build anything you want, but in lets say call of duty all u can do is go around shooting people and dieing getting killstreaks and stuff, when minecraft can have that and be better by creativity
Plz reply if you agree :)
