Ever been on a server and asked "can i have op"? I'm sure you have at least once or twice. Well, I am telling you, you're doing it wrong. There are several reasons that people don't become staff on servers, and I am going to explain to you how to become staff on a server properly using 5 steps.

1. Use perfect capitalization and grammar

This will make the Admin feel as if you learned in school, and you know what you're doing.
Example: May I become a staff member, if you need one?

2. Be Mature.

Being mature pretty much explains itself. It will look to the Admin that you don't grief, abuse power, or ban players for no apparent reason.

3. Respect the Admins and Players

The Admins and Players will trust, as well as like you if you respect them, and make your chance of becoming a staff member higher.

4. Never ask

Asking for staff is extremely annoying to Admins and players, and decreases your chances of getting staff greatly. Might as well find another server and try again if you've asked for staff.

5. Play on the server for a while

This shows the Admins that you truly care about the server, as you stuck around for a while.
