Will MINECRAFT fall ?!
This topic is worth discussing as in the last few months this topic had been discussed by many youtubers and gamers but the answer is still unknown in this post I will explain the topic from my point of view So now MINECRAFT has big community already supporting it all the time by creating new content such as challenges , servers , MODS , Youtube content , Marketplace maps .. etc the game has a huge support from us and content that no other game has here is why :
1 - The open world of the game which no other game has so that the world generation is unexpected and has endless possibilities especially when mods are installed such as :
Biomes o Plenty , Terrailith , Tectonic , When dungeons arise .
The combination of this mods adds a completley new world generation with more endless possibilities during the exploration of the world .
Yes there is other games that have open world as GTA but not like MINECRAFT because the open world here is different between the two games as GTA doesn't have world generation like MINECRAFT the open world in GTA concentrates on doing different activities before and after finishing the game and the world of GTA is limited by the map as if you entered the ocean there is no thing only water although the map is huge to be explored but its size is smaller and smaller and smaller than the size of MINECRAFT world and the world generation in MINECRAFT is unexpected and as you explore you will find that there is no repeating in the generation while GTA map after exploring all of its places it will be well known and after time the game may be boring because there is no new thing in the map you will go to find some thing another to do as making the police chase you .
another point that if you wanted to make map of your own you can use World painter program to make your own map in MINECRAFT . GTA has map mods already but the map mods are limited to the maps from the past GTA series only and if you wanted to add your own map as an expansion to map you will need nearly one month or more because it requires programming and well knowledge of how this game has been programmed while using World painter you only will paint your terrain map and export it as MINECRAFT world and play it this only will take one hour depending on the terrain shape you want to create. ( we will return to this point )
2 - The freedom given to the player where you can do different activities as building , mining , hunting , exploring and much more while other games limits the player with story mode that ends and you cannot complete your journey as you like MINECRAFT gives the freedom to the players to do any thing they want .
3 - The mods mods are the modifications made by players in MINECRAFT adding new mobs , blocks , structures , items , biomes , changing the whole game , etc while other game companies chases mods and prevents the mod makers from making modifications to their games MINECRAFT itself supports the modding community and offered to them MARKETPLACE for BEDROCK EDITION where you can make your own content that adds skins , maps , mobs , resource packs , quests and more while in JAVA EDITION which is the home of mod makers and has mods more than BEDROCK EDITION .
While comparing with ROCKSTAR GAMES between 2021 and 2022 ROCKSTAR GAMES started to take down mods and closed the big mods that changes the game completely as GTA UNDERGROUND MOD that was made for GTA SAN ANDREAS that adds GTA 3 , BULLY , GTA VICE CITY , MAN HUNT 1 & 2 maps to game and also adds over 100 new weapon , new npc , new vehicles and more . this mod was taken down by ROCKSTAR GAMES the mod had big supporters and updates from time to time but suddenly the team announced that the project will stop because of the new politics ROCKSTAR GAMES followed towards the mods .
The question is why this happened and why most game companies violates the modding of their games ? the answer is ROCKSTAR GAMES was working on GTA DEFINITIVE EDITION and that edition had better graphics and fixing bugs and for launching this new edition the wanted to take down the mods may prevent players from buying it as graphics mods and map expansion mods but in the end the edition in my opinion is the worst GTA edition it had many bugs many texture issues in my opinion it makes no sense GTA SAN ANDREAS mods made the graphics better on the other hand MINECRAFT has a large modding community and MOJANG supports the mods and the programs made to mod the game they use BLOCKBENCH in their modeling and animations as example of mobs made in it the AXOLOTL , CAMEL , SNIFFER .
( I'm not against ROCKSTAR or attacking GTA I'm just comparing )
4 - The content MINECRAFT has a huge content than any other games every day on YOUTUBE there is a new challenges , new type of videos as( theories , stories , animation , top mods , building ideas , 100 days hardcore , songs etc) this content is a renewed content and day after day new content appears and attracts the players and they are encouraged to make new content better than and more advanced than the past content and from time to time the game is updated with huge updates until 2019 we used to get one update each year now may get two or more updates in the year .
Now with our major topic what may cause MINECARFT to fall now we have discussed the features that is in MINECRAFT and the question is will a game that has all of this features fall ?
The shocking answer is yes it may fall I know it is a hard and a shocking answer but how ?!! how a game that has this huge amount of content and has the biggest game community fall ?
Well now the game content is mainly operated by the players from mods , videos , skins , resource packs etc meaning that the fate and future of MINECRAFT is not in MOJANG'S hands yes as you read the future of the game and its fate is in our hands we are the players the community which stands behind the icon of open world games ( MINECRAFT ) we have the desicion if the game will contenue or not here is why :
MOJANG only updates the game like any other game company do with its games and the game doesn't prevent us from creating mods or maps or resource packs meaning that we are left to feel free to make our imaginated ideas in MINECRAFT and the most content made in the game is made by players so we are real representers of the game and any wrong thing that happens from us will affect the game and will affect us as whole a shape of wrong players decisions occured two times in the mob votes the first mob vote which included the monster of ocean depths , the monster of the night skies ( phantom ) , the great hunger , the hovering inferno I expected that the the moster of the ocean depths or the hovering inferno will win because the if the monster of the ocean depths won the ocean would get upgraded as it was responsible for the update aquatic and if the hovering inferno won the nether would get upgraded as the nether wasn't updated at this time but in the end the phantom won the vote and now the players hate it how players hate it and they are the reason of its existance in the game see minecon 2017 https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/MINECON_Earth_2017
another time in the 2020 mob vote that was between iceologer , moobloom , glow squid I expected
that the iceologer will win because it will add new challenge to the game and new ideas

this reflects the wrong decisions made by players which affects the game and doesn't add sense of adventure and challenge to the game .
another important thing that may cause to increase the speed of the fall of our community and the game is the mature content we are a game for all ages and the mature content will affect the game negatively the simplest example of the mature content we all know is jenny mod this mod content is for adults and MINECRAFT is for all ages if a kid played this mod because of curiosity this will encourage the kid to search for real adult content by this way the parents may think that the game is encouraging kids to do things for adults but the game doesn't have direct hand in this because jenny is mod and as we said the mod is made by the players and that may lead MOJANG to take down mods because of this content sadly many gamers and youtubers published many videos on how to install this mod never mind if a kid fell into problem because of them this mod is a real venom that doesn't represent us and i don't know what was in the mind of mod maker who created this mod

Now in summery the fate and future of the game is in our hands our game inspired many game developers and many games inspired by us as FORTINITE , TERRARIA and the upcoming HYTALE we are a big community rich in huge content and ideas even when GTA V released MINECRAFT had big fame and many copies were sold returning to the point of world generation in my opinion MINECRAFT should have its own game genre not only just an open world game but a something bigger we are the only game which has the infinite world generation.
We will face a new wave of challenges after the release of HYTALE and GTA VI we must be ready to pass our game to still stand up and resist this wave we must save our MINECRAFT community and support it our game has a big history of adventures and stories and achieved many prizes the icon of NOTCH must live forever not after all of this history we fall like an old abandoned house .

Will MC fall, there are a number of possible reasons. [The four numbered points appear to be a list of MC's strengths or advantages]
1) MC is [currently appears to be] the leader in open world generation, particularly if various mods are also considered.
This aspect is [possibly] much less developed in MC's currnet competitors.
2) MC is [mostly] a sandbox with players being able to pursue a wide range of self selected goals.
3) MC has a very active modding community that produces both enhancements and alternative play opportuities. [As of the OP posting] MS/Mj is much less opposed to this activity than have been other companies.
4) MC has a very large and active content creation community supporting and advertising play opportunities Utub video Let's_Plays, tutorials, & stories being cited as examples. [To which I would add the various text support sources e.g. wiki etc.]

MS/Mj produces very little of the additional content and the furture of the game is in the hands of the players.
Twice the players [actually the people voting in MS/Mjs polls] have made bad choices in the mob votes [MobB & GlowSquid]
These mobs are now hated by the players, but it is the fault of the players [voters]
Also, some published addons are not E-rating suitable; the jenny mod being an example [A very egregious example at that.]
This may make MS/Mj kill modding/content addition [Unlikely to be successful, it will just drive it underground.] or cause parents to blacklist the game thinking that outlier is typical. [More likely, but the proper solution is education.]
The future of MC is in the hands of the player community [Largely true] and that community must stand together to keep MC preeminent despite the release of other games. [Only until such time as someone bests MC's sandbox appeal (Here's to the advances of a competitive mrketplace)]
