Best Minecraft day ever? Well, it was, at least.

I always thought the day I got my new pet wolf would be the best Minecraft day of my life. My friend and I named it Riley. We both live in the same house, so we both own the wolf. We were all excited as we brought our new best friend into our home, showed him all around, all that kind of stuff. It was about to become nighttime, but then we lost connection to the server we were on. Apparently a new plug-in is being added to the server. I think that's a wonderful idea. There is very few plug-ins, or fun plug-ins at least. Most of them are for safety and avoiding server lag. There is this cool one where a wolfs collar makes noise when it moves. But you can also take it on and off. That's one of the reasons we wanted a wolf, so we could test it out. So we waited for the server to be updated, we thought maybe an hour at most.

A whole 2 days past and it still showed that same message whenever we tried to connect. "Our server is about to get a new plug-in! It shouldn't take long, be patient!" Why is it taking so long? Did the server freeze? I'm getting a lot of questions and I hate when I get a bunch of questions in my head without answers. But sadly, the only thing I can do is wait it out. Finally, after almost a whole week, were able to connect. Were happy to log in and go to out house and meet Riley. And there he is, right smack in the middle of our living room. It's as if he was waiting for us this entire time. How cute!

It becomes nighttime, like I would have expected, and it was about time to go to sleep. We thought it might be a good idea to take the wolfs collar off before we go to sleep, so it would be easier to do so. Even though it won't make a difference, we like to make this as real as possible. So I take his collar off, and my friend and I go to our own rooms. We say goodnight to each other, and go to sleep. That's when I hear the sound of jingling. I try to ignore it but it gets louder. I get out of my bed. "Santa?" I ask out loud. The noise stops. "Must be the wolf" I think. It's collar must be making the noise, so I assume I forgot to take the collar off.

I turn on the light and go to my wolf in the other room. I'm about to right-click and remove his collar, but before I do, I realize something. Right in my hotbar, number 1, is his collar. I look at him again, and his neck lacks a collar. Nothing. Just a wolf. I assume I was hearing things, and sure enough, once I try going back to sleep, no more jingling. The morning sun arises as my friend and I wake up. We say goodmorning and start our morning routine. Have bread for breakfast, and decide to work on our farm. So we do exactly that.

While were working, we like to have conversations. Any kinds really. In Minecraft, outside of Minecraft, food, sports, absolutely anything. But after a maybe 5 second silence, my friend brings up a conversation that shocked me. "Hey, did you take off the dogs collar last night?" He asks. "Yeah, why?" "I heard his collar while I was trying to sleep." "Wait- really? You're not joking around with me?" He laughs. "No. Probably just my imagination though. I'm sure you did." I didn't bother telling him that I heard them too, stuff like that happens. Maybe it's part of the plug-in? That's when I think up of a new conversation to start. "Did you figure out what the new plug-in is yet?" "I think so, it seems like animals got a tweak. They run away faster and have more health, but you get more of what they drop." he replies. It does seem like it, because when we went to our animal farm, the animals seemed like it was harder to kill them. But I didn't mention it, because I thought it was nothing, because it was very slight.

The rest of the day is normal Minecraft stuff, visiting other people on the server, mining, etc.. Once it's nighttime, We decide it's ready for bed. This time, he watches me take it off. Now I have a witness in case this happens again, but I doubt it will. Like I said, I think it's just a figment of my imagination. So I don't worry, and we both go to sleep. There it is again. The dogs collar making noise. I'm starting to wonder if this is just a bug. I decide to look up the plug-in while my Minecraft is running, and there were no bug reports. Maybe it's supposed to make noise while your asleep? No, that's stupid. If your smart enough to create a plug-in, your WAY smarter than that. Smarter than me at least. I get out of bed and walk into the living room to check on the wolf, when all of the sudden I bump into something. No, not something, someone. I get scared and turn on the light. And shriek in terror. "AAAAHHH!! Oh, it's just you" I yell. My friend was next to the dog, confused. "Calm down" he says. I want to say sorry, but there's only one thing on my mind right now.

"Did you hear the dogs collar last night?" I ask him. "That's what I'm here for. I wanted to ask you the same question." We agree this is getting ridiculous. In the morning, we have a simple plan. Were going to take the dogs collar, and bury it far away from our home, seriously. Were going to go far out, and bury it under grass until it rots into the Earth like dropped items always do in 5 minutes. So, we did. We ventured out far until we were in the middle of a forest. I break 2 dirts blocks, one grass block and another below it, and drop the collar. I place the grass block, and we run back home. We forgot food, so we had some steak I kept in a chest in the kitchen. We ate, and suprisingly, the sun was already starting to set. Man, I can't believe we were out that long! But this is good, now we can sleep ien peace. No collar to annoy us. Before we sleep, we take a good long look at the wolf. No collar. No colar in the house. No collar near us. Thank god! We go to our seperate bedrooms, and we go to sleep. Peaceful... sleeping.

The noise continues. Again. I'm too tired to get up. That's when I get scared. REALLY SCARED. WHAT WAS THAT. I know for a fact that my friend it asleep, so it wasn't him, it had to be the dog. THE MOST FREAKISH BEAST YELP IVE HEARD. I almost jumped out of my skin. What WAS that!? I'm too scared to get out of my bed. WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS SERVER!? Did someone break into our house!? Still, it couldn't make THAT noise!!! I force myself to open my eyes. Biggest mistake of my Minecraft life. In the middle of my bedroom, is a HUGE, FREAKISH BEAST. I see the dog in the corner of my room, terrified. WOLVES HAVE FEELINGS NOW!? WHATS HAPPENING!? This also means that, the dogs collar wasn't the noise in the middle of the night, it was this BEAST. THAT THING WAS CREEPING INSIDE MY HOUSE ALL THIS TIME. I open my eyes more to see something terrible. Our whole house, burning, fire everywhere. The beast then realizes i'm awake.I try to get up and run, but he catches up real fast. He jumps on top of me, and my Minecraft screen shows his creepy face. My Minecraft starts to spaz out, and, the Minecraft server crashes. No reason was said. It just said "The Minecraft server is closed". It never went back up again.
