Hello there! First of all, I wish you all had an amazing new year! 2024 was definitely a memorable year for me and I'm looking to see a better and happier 2025!

Welcome aboard my little post, grab yourself a mug of hot chocolate or coffee and lets delve into the world of Gearfinder! My small and loved pet project! This post is mainly to showcase what I've been working on for the past few months, and maybe get interest from 2-3 people, haha... Who knows! Someone might be as crazy as I am for machines and other fancy Steampunk-ish stuff!

The world of Gearfinder... Its mainly a plot based server with an additional Skyblock gamemode that aims to be a social server, a place where you can play, meet friends and maybe, maybe build something to stand the test of time! We run a pure Paper based server, so no mods are required at all, even though, we have custom blocks, machines, interfaces and mobs. All powered by the cheer power of Plugins and Resource Packs.

What is my goal? My goal is to create a cozy and friendly place for all to have a neat time, a place where everyone can freely build their bases without the fear of griefers or other hazzards. All in all, a social project, a friendly and cozy server.

The server is currently under heavy development, many of the features are not remotely near completion but I feel I can share a few of my advancements to this community.

The above list is a rough sketch of what I currently have, and I'm always working on improving and adding more machines to that list. The whole idea behind those machines is to bring a bit of the modded industrial scenario to the multiplayer world. As I couldn't find any server with a similar system to play and always faced this gap of content.

Technical Stuff:
The server currently runs on native 1.21.3 is a Paper-based instance. No extra downloads or mods are required as you can simply join and the server will automatically download the resource pack to your client, making it easy to connect and play.

Currently, we run the "Tiles of Paper" resource pack (a private resource pack designed and textured by me). Its goal is to replace all vanilla textures with a more "paper / tile-ish" design.
