Wounded

The blade sinks deep into your torso,
You feel numb for a brief moment,
And then pain comes flowing in,
You let out a scream in agony,

You feel the warm blood trickle down your body,
You feel weak and lazy,
Your skin is soft and delicate,
Like the life has been sucked out of you,

You look at the blade slowly,
Then at the thing that put it there,
Its eyes are eery and bright,
Your vision starts to blur,

You see your whole life ahead of you,
Your family and friends and all that you planned,
With a swing of a blade,
It's gone.

You go pale,
You pulse starts to stop,
You lie in a pool of your own blood,
From this single wound; you're dead.
