XP - Do We Need It?

Hello Diamond Miners, Diamonddozen here. Lately I've noticed that I've been getting xp just for logging on. So if everyone gets xp for being addicted to Planet Minecraft then is there a reason to brag about your level. Take for instance me to a level 1 miner. I'm level 26. That's pretty decent, but since I'm just getting xp for logging on lately it brings me to the question: "Do we really need xp?" XP is supposed to define that you are more active in the community. Not that you can log on. I could literally just keep on switching between planetminecraft and another site and I'd be getting xp like crazy. On video games I am a serious xp grinder. I go up to monsters and just stand there and kill them. You shouldn't be able to do that on a site.

So I never actually see that, but it basically sums up every time someone makes fun of another person. My proposal: Only give xp for reasonable stuff or don't have it at all.

I think it would be nice if they remove the exp system. How you get stuff once you get to so and so level, that should be like once you post so many times or how long you have been on the site, something like that. It would get rid of a lot of the problem's like spam post's just to level up exp, or people acting like kind because they're like 5 or 10 level's higher than you. I would also get rid of all the people insulting level 1 people.
