YOU Give Blogs A Bad Reputation
NOTE: This blog is not directed to those who put thought into their blogs and/or help out the blogs that are original and cool.
You. Yes, you. Well, not really you, but kind of you. For all purposes let's just say it's you. You have created a blog that is unoriginal, borderline spam, and makes people want to cry. You know it's true so don't deny it. Oh, perhaps you haven't? Well, then do you support the blogs that are actually well made? HA! I got you there didn't I? You check all of the skins to see if they look nice, but only give the blogging section a quick look and leave in disgust. You are preventing the world from seeing the good side of blogging! You monster! Oh... you're denying that too then? Have you ever critiqued the blog section as a whole, or said you don't like blogs period? These generalizations are offensive, say you're sorry! What, you didn't do any of these things??? Hm. You must be the exception. Pat yourself on the back.
The point I'm making is that PMC is to blame for the state of blogging. If you've ever made a blog that shouldn't exist, supported a blog that would be better off nonexistent, written off the blog section as a no-mans land that doesn't deserve to be checked, or bad-mouthed it and bloggers in general, you're the reason blogs have degraded so much! Maybe if the community (like with projects, skins, texture-packs, etc.) encouraged new and cool ideas with diamonds and let the old topics (BUDDAR "cough" "cough") grow old and die, then we'd be in a very different situation.
To be honest, it's probably not you who's to blame. The fact you've gotten this far means you care about what I'm trying to say and aren't bored yet because I have not
proclaimed some opinion everyone agrees with for the sake of diamonds. You are a beacon in this world, tell everyone about the "Renaissance of Blogging". You can give blogs a good reputation, and eventually, a good future.
