Humans are the most social beings to walk this earth. Like all social creatures (wolves,apes,etc.) we share. We share food in the school cafeterias, we share toys with our siblings, and we share knowledge with the world. When the internet was created, we started to share without even realizing it. We would share a picture of our avocado toast on facebook and instagram without even the slightest thought. So of course when MC came to exist, we wanted to share our knowledge about it. After all, that's the main purpose of the minecraft forums and PMC. But we cannot say "I don't know.", for that is swallowing our pride, and humans simply cannot admit that they have flaws. So we instead take a guess and hope for the best. Then whoever asked that question will spread the false information thinking that it's true. When someone tells the truth, they help the community recover from the damage dealt by the lie.

1. A day in MC is 10 minutes and so is a night. This may be the most widespread lie about MC. The truth is that a day is longer than a night. "Solar Days" are 20 minutes in total with Daytime lasting 10 minutes, night time lasting 7, with 1:30 for dawn / dusk.
2. 1.12 ruined minecraft! We hear this every single update. "New combat system? MINECRAFT IS RUINED! A small update? THE GAME IS DYING!" So, you may ask, what's wrong with this update? Blocks. They added in some new blocks.
3. Super Minecraft Kid is the worst minecraft youtube channel. Actually, that channel is a troll channel created just to mess with people.
4. Microsoft is ruining MC! Warning: the following statements are just opinions of mine. Yes, Microsoft is messing around with PE. They've added the community marketplace. But we can still get skins by other means. We can still play the game however we want to. You don't have to buy stuff. And yes, they're trying to make Microsoft 10 edition the best. But they aren't making the java version worse. And even if they add community marketplace to java edition, they can't stop us from downloading maps and skins off of the internet. We will always find a way to play the game how we want to. Even if they make modding illegal, we will find a legal way to make mods, even if it means that we will have to download a world that's half-filled with command blocks to play CrazyCraft, they can't ever stop us.
