How to install Minecraft Data Packs

Want to skip the night without having everyone on the server or realm to sleep? This datapack let you skip the night if having one person sleeping. It won't reset the local difficulty and you have to sleep approximately the same amount of time as on a single player world.

Compatible with 1.13-1.14. The datapack has been tested in both single player and realms.

Installation

Follow the steps to install this datapack:
  1. Download the datapack
  2. Open Minecraft
  3. Select your world, click on Edit and then Open Folder
  4. Put the datapack inside the folder named datapacks
  5. Start the world, the datapack should now be installed, in case it isn't working type /reload in chat

The datapack have now been updated to work with Minecraft 1.14 (please note: you need to reinstall it).

Will this reset the weather? I doesn't seem to, because for the last hour, it's been raining. :(

If thunder, it resets the weather. But not for rain, no... I'm not planning to add support for that either.

Is there a possibility that let's say, only 3 people have to sleep? My server has 8 people on average and letting 1 person skip a night would be a bit op

There are no commands available from this datapack (except some internal ones). All the work is being done in the background. But yes, you might find some /function 1ps:(method) after doing /reload. The only one which might be interesting to use is /function 1ps:skipday

It does not. It skips a day forward.
