Ocean gen
A minecraft challenge/fun datapack
Dive into an endless ocean !
This world generation data pack makes your entire world ocean : all ocean biomes are included, even those who don't naturally generate in vanilla worlds. Structures still generate, nether and end are still accessible. No dimension are added, the overworld is changed.
Past Updates !
Raft Update :
- Added a starting raft, it will spawn when you first generate the world
- Added two custom items : O2 bottles and a survival knife ! (texture pack requiered)
- Added lore
- Added a survival book
- Added loot to the raft
1.17 Update :
- Fixed set seed bug
- Fixed gen problems
- Tweaked values for more natural gen
- Started to work on better structures
Fishing Update :
- Changed fishing loot table to F's Fishing +
Planned updates :
- Structures revamp
- Doors removal (op air pockets)

How do I get wood ? > Shipwrecks !
Does version matter ? > A bit, but the DP should work
Can I update my old world ? > Do it at your own risk !
Why is it not the right .mcmeta version ? > Im lazy, but it works !

This pack is still in dev and may not be perfect, exept changes to biome balance over time.
The pack may cause minor lag when generating new chunks.
Known issues :
- Glitch in multiplayer
- Strongholds do not generate in some worlds

sorry ive been away from mc for a bit
If the mod adds biomes to the game : Yes, BUT, only vanilla biomes will generate
If the mod changes complitly world gen : Sadly, No
What I mean is that it was made for 1.16, réparer for 1.17 and broken by 1.18 : I do have plans to update it tho it will take quite some time ;(
I have some questions to ask you:
- Do you enjoy the pack ?
- How many players are there on your serveur ?
- What features from 1.18 do you need ?
Its just a small smp server with a few other datapacks and server-side mods (fabric server) so just like normaly 4 or 5 tops
just the the ocean generator itself is all I need but also since I removed the datapack when I updated the server I need to still be able to work with all the land that got generated and not reset the map
if u can do this u will be a very pog person
