Player Tracker



This datapack uses the compass to track other players in your world
Made for Minecraft Java Edition 1.18

Information:



The closest player to you will be tracked by default. Players can be tracked in the Overworld, Nether and End dimensions.

Usage:


View main menu:/trigger pt.menu

View information:/trigger pt.info


View a menu of players you can track:While holding the tracking compass in your main hand
Look towards the ground
Right click




PLayer Tracker GUI

View a list of players you can track:/trigger pt.player_list


Get a compass:/trigger pt.get_compass

You can very easily, you just need to do a little bit of datapack work yourself. I followed this tutorial: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pt7y6PNP6KY

It works great and to anyone have a problem with it not showing up you have to leave and rejoin the game

i tried the command /trigger pt.menu and the other commands but i am not getting a compass i made a server and i cant get a compass? am i suppose to make a special one??

Are you using a free server host?

Some of them seem to have problems with datapacks.

um theres a problem when i tried to track someone the compass disapears can somebody help me with this bug?

Make sure to have the correct version of Minecraft with the player tracker when you do it. I had the same issue when I tried to use the 1.17 compass pack with 1.18. (That should fix your problem)

Thanks so much this works perfectly though the 1.17 does not (I tried that first realizing my mistake)
