A simple datapack that locks containers with the new 1.21 trial keys




You can use the trial key to lock container blocks
Container blocks include chests, barrels, all similar furnaces, brewing stands, dispensers and droppers


How to use it




- Rename the key in an anvil


[​Locking it]

- Drop the key on a "not-locked" container block.

- If it succeeds, it will show a green particle.

- Now the chest can only be opened with the same key in hand (No one will never know your key's name unless you show them)


[​De-locking/Removing the lock on the chest]

- Drop the same key for the chest on the locked container block

- If it succeeds in unlocking, it will show a white particle

- Now the chest can be opened by anyone again


Made in just 1 and a half hour

Nope, doors aren't lockable with this datapack yet. I would look into it in the future though.
