This Datapack allows you to track players or other entities with a compass. If you are in the same dimension, the compass will always point to the target. If you are in different dimensions, the compass will continue to point to the last tracked position. For players, this also works with custom dimesions! The compass will update its position if it is in your hotbar or offhand. You will not lose your compass on death.

To track the target other players must run /trigger track

Which group an entity occupies is controlled by the "compass.tracking_id" scoreboard. A player can add themselves to a group using/trigger make_target set <group>
