Welcome to Advancement Heartlink!

This datapack introduces a challenging and unique twist on the average hardcore or survival experience. The Advancement Heartlink gamemode starts the player at a half-heart (yes, one half-heart!) and allows the player to increase their health by completing Minecraft vanilla advancements. Every two advancements earned rewards the player with another half-heart. If a player earns all 95 advancements (as of 1.18.2) in the game, they are rewarded with 6 extra hearts, for a total of three FULL healthbars! So, get as many advancements as you can, and try to survive!

*This datapack is not compatible with custom advancements from other datapacks, only vanilla advancements will count towards your health-score*

This gamemode works with multiplayer servers, but you may experience a little delay in updating hearts and advancement scores every now and then. Otherwise should be good to go! (Special thanks to kaimedina for confirming that!)

Do you mean that the datapack says its not compatible when you install it in 1.18.1? If so, technically the datapack is in the datapack format 9, which was introduced in 1.18.2. However, you should be able to run the datapack and play normally, (even though it says the datapack is not compatible) I think.

The caves were a death zone and we kept accidentally insta-killing eachother - so yes it was a great time! That kinda challenge is fun.
