Amethyst Parasite

About

This data pack adds a new mob called the Amethyst Parasite! it is a small creature with 4 legs that has amethyst on it's head, it spawns in amethyst geodes.

Being Infected

The Amethyst Parasite can jump on your head, when it jumps on your head, you will start taking damage, you have to hit it off your head by looking up and punching, then the parasite will jump off your head. then every 5 minutes, you will go to the next amethyst infection stage. after 20 minutes you will be fully infected! with each stage, you will get slower, but stronger.

Infecting Others

Once you are infected, you can hit other players to infect them. if you infect every player on the server, you will get a advancement!

Curing the Infection

You can cure the infection by crafting a amethyst cure, to craft it, you have to make amethyst powder by putting a amethyst shard in a stonecutter! then you can put a water bottle at the bottom, amethyst powder in the middle, and a golden apple at the top! then you can drink the cure and you will no longer be infected!
