Amethyst Nether
Amethyst Nether is a world generation datapack that redesigns the 5 vanilla biomes and adds 10 new ones, making the Nether a more beautiful and scary place. I hope you enjoy it!
It is recommended to use this in new worlds. Using it in existing worlds or uninstalling it may corrupt your world. New updates should be used in new worlds. Do not attempt to replace old versions with new ones.
New Terrain
Amethyst Nether removes floating terrain generations (for the most part), adds large lava pools and speleothems throughout the dimension. Each biome has a unique atmosphere that includes colors for fog, water, grass, and foliage, as well as unique mob spawns and particles. The biome distribution uses temperature and humidity values, causing similar biomes to generate together or making them larger or smaller than others. The lower and upper layers of the Nether are now made of blackstone. The lower layer from 1 to 24, and the upper layer from 104 to 127.
Biomes Changes
Nether Wastes
Filled with lava pools, zombified piglins and some ghasts are found here. Ancient debris generates in the ceiling and gravel patches on the ground. Ore generation from layer 80 to 96.
Basalt Deltas
Filled with basalt pillars, magma cubes and a few ghasts spawn. Glowstone generates in the ceiling.
Soul Sand Valley
Similar to vanilla, skeletons and some ghasts are found here. Souls are released from the ground.
Crimson Forest
Same as vanilla, piglins and some hoglins are found here.
Warped Forest
Same as vanilla, endermen are found here.
New Sub-Biomes
Basalt Caverns
Basalt deltas filled with cracks. Magma cubes and a few blazes spawn. Stripes of obsidian can be found on the ceiling, and gilded blackstone generates in the floor. Magma drops are quite annoying. Ore generation from layer 16 to 56.
Crimson Deltas
Basalt deltas with crimson vegetation. Some magma cubes are found here.
Crimson Fissures
Cracks filled with gold and crimson vegetation. Zombified piglins are found here. Ore generation from layer 24 to 48.
Crimson Plains
Plains with crimson vegetation. Hoglins and a few piglins spawn. An ideal place for building.
Soul Sand Deltas
Basalt deltas with soul sand. Skeletons and some magma cubes are found here. Burning souls are released from the ground.
Soulcrimson Valley
Soul sand valley with crimson vegetation. Skeletons and a few wither skeletons spawn. Nether warts generate on the ground.
Soul Wastes
Fungal biome full of mushrooms. Skeletons and few allays spawn. Mushrooms for stew can be found.
Warped Deltas
Basalt deltas with warped vegetation. Some striders are found here. It is a peaceful place.
Warped Fissures
Cracks filled with quartz and warped vegetation. A few endermen spawn. Ore generation from layer 24 to 48.
Warped Plains
Plains with warped vegetation. A few endermen spawn.
Additional Information
Amethyst Nether has its own advancement system that unlocks upon entering the dimension. Brown and red mushrooms generate in Nether Wastes. Materials like gold, quartz, and ancient debris generate in specific biomes. Striders are found throughout the Nether and are very friendly. Bastions can only be found in crimson biomes. The datapack is compatible with others that add structures to the dimension.
Version 1.20.x is available at the alternative link. The legacy version can be found here (obsolete): https://modrinth.com/datapack/amethysts-nether

I installed this datapack and my XP/gold farm is not working
This datapack seems to change not only the Nether biomes, but also the spawn rates and distribution of mobs.
The biomes I tried were Crimson Fissures, Crimson Plains, and Nether Wastes
(checked the surface biomes and then tried them on the nether ceiling)
I am not good at English, so I wrote it with the help of a translator
may be some parts that are difficult to read.
