I know, making recipe datapack is a piece of cake. But sometimes somebody needs an idea to make one. So I've got such an idea for you.
If you have "skeleton farm" or mob grinder, and "unfortunelly", you've got Infinity enchantment on your bow, so you know... ;) Probably you're sinking in unuseful arrows.
Why would it be wasted?
A simple datapack: smelt or blast your arrows to nugets (blasting is 2x faster).
UPDATE:
I figured if an arrow could be smelted into a nugget, could it be reversed and the nugget was made into an arrow?
One nugget -> one arrow, so as not to make a perpetual motion machine: smelt one nugget from an arrow, make 4 arrows from it, and smelt 4 nuggets from them and make 16 arrows from them, etc.
You don't have flint in your chests, no gravel around, but arrows are needed immediately. You always have iron - one ignot and you are the happy owner of 9 arrows.

We start the game almost always the same way: wood - wooden pickaxe - stone pickaxe - we find coal and iron "by the way".And then we are no longer in the Stone Age, but in the Iron Age, so the tip should be made of iron.
Many of us craft a bow only when we go hunting for a dragon :)
In java, if you cure level two toolsmith, they'll will always trade you 1 iron for one emerald
Also a level one fletcher can trade one emerald for 16 arrows
you buy 16 arrows
you make 9 of them in nuggets then into one ingot
you trade it to your cured toolsmith
you end up with the one emerald you started with and 7 additional arrows
