Sometimes I use Miner's Dream Datapack, which was created by Firebug.
Unfortunately, the author has not updated it for a few years, so I had to deal with it myself :)
Let me remind you that the datapack creates a pickaxe that mines a big tunnel with one hit. In my modification 4 blocks high, 11 blocks wide and 100 blocks long.
Of course, the ore blocks remain intact.
Pickaxe works in Overworld as well as Nether. Removes stoney blocks in the cardinal direction you are looking as well as water and lava source blocks.

Pick is crafted by throwing 2 logs and 3 iron blocks on top of a crafting table.
Use oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry logs and crimson and warped stems.

Yes, it's cheating when you use it to extract valuable resources: diamonds and netherite, but if it does not bother someone, let them use it :)

Dig perimeter with one hit

This would be useful for perimeters.
